After breakfast, embark on a scenic boat ride across the tranquil waters of Lake Tanganyika to Magambo Village, where your driver will be waiting to welcome you. From here, begin your overland journey back to Kigoma, winding through rugged highlands and remote villages along a bumpy, dusty road that reveals the raw, untouched beauty of western Tanzania. You’ll reach Kigoma by late afternoon and connect to a private boat bound for Gombe National Park. Upon arrival, enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure, perfect for unwinding or exploring the area at your own relaxed pace. Overnight at Gombe Tanapa Bandas or Mbali Mbali Gombe  

Enjoy a full day, the legendary sanctuary of wild chimpanzees. Spend the morning deep in the forest on a half day trek, hiking through lush, shaded trails as you search for and observe the chimps in their natural habitat, an unforgettable encounter with one of Africa’s most iconic species. As the afternoon light softens, return to the lakeshore for some well-deserved relaxation. Take a refreshing swim in the clear waters of Lake Tanganyika, watch the sun melt into the horizon, or simply unwind at your own pace. Begin your morning with an exciting chimpanzee‑tracking adventure in Gombe National Park, exploring the forested slopes where the famous Kasekela community resides. After your trek, return to camp for refreshments before boarding your private boat to Kibirizi Port. Upon arrival, meet your driver for a scenic transfer to Kigoma Hilltop Hotel for leisure, sunset views over Lake Tanganyika, dinner, and overnight.

You will be transferred to Kigoma Airport for your return flight to Dar es Salaam, where you will be met and assisted to Terminal Three for a seamless connection to your scheduled international departure.
